Do you ship to Post Offices via General Delivery?Updated 6 months ago

Yes! We ship orders to hikers in trail towns every day! It is up to you to find the correct address for a given post office (check ahead of time to see if they offer General Delivery and to see if they can hold your package for you). You can write your ETA date and “Hold for [PCT] hiker” along with your name in your shipping address so that they know when to expect you. Chances are you will need to show an ID with your name that matches the name on the package when picking up your box.

We recommend planning ahead to make sure the package will arrive at the post office before you arrive. Choosing USPS Priority shipping can better help ensure a faster and successful arrival too. Most post offices hold General Delivery boxes for 1 month only.

Note that we are not liable for packages that have the incorrect address written as the shipping address, nor are we liable if a post office changes their services at any time - this is entirely out of our control, and we recommend checking in with the post offices ahead of time.

Also note that post offices generally do not hold packages from other carriers like UPS or FedEx.
